It is so amazing how our bodies can just adapt so quickly, after training for only a few weeks I ran my first race 4.8 miles. Ok so not quite an 8K but pretty close and seriously that is the longest I have ever ran in my life.. in one go that is and with a stroller too!It was the My Dr Now race to raise funds for the Phoenix Childrens Hospital. It was such a great feeling to cross that finish line, I ran with two other girls Brandi and Amiee and we are going to continue training for our next race on February 2nd, London's Run which is a 10K. I will keep you posted. Anyhoo, so our baby girl is going to be 10 months on Friday and I cant believe how much she has grown in the last month, she is looking like a toddler now, not the little baby anymore. She is so silly and such a good girl. Keira really enjoyed putting her decorations on the tree...with some help from daddy of course, after she had tasted each one she was happy to see them hang on the tree. We are really looking forward to spending xmas just our little family, our friends brandi and Mike and their daughter Alaina are going to join us for xmas dinner! It is hard to believe we will have been in this house a year the day after christmas, it has been the best year yet and cant wait to spend many more here.
