Yes mommy finally got a night out with the girls.. it was such a blast and long overdue. Carey, Alison, Heather and myself went out to celebrate Alisons birthday. We went to this great wine bar called Postino in Phoenix, now you are probably thinking hmm a wine bar? you are pregnant... and actually I wasnt the only one, Heather is also pregnant with her second also a girl! and we are due just 10 days apart. Anyhoo point being we didnt miss the wine because the company was fantastic and we laughed and laughed it was truly a wonderful night, that ended with chickens... no I am not kidding (alison recently acquired 3 show chickens) Oh did I mention the food was excellent too. Definitely a go backsta. So of course we had to get dolled up for the occasion and above are a couple of pics of carey and I, just a couple of posers!
In other exciting adult news, Rick has traded in his little sports car and settled for a very manly and rugged "family" appropriate car! He drove up to flagstaff to get one hell of a deal on a new Toyota FJ Cruiser and is soooooo happy!! Finally we have two cars that make sense.. and will keep for a while. Yes we are trying, key word trying to settle down LOL I guess that is what kids do for you.. or maybe age? I say its a beautiful thing! So there it is in all its Sandstorm glory.
