5 years have flown by, sometimes our wedding seems like yesterday but we have squeezed so much life into those few years! Well we were pretty low key this year and decided to go to a great Thai restaurant that we used to go to before marriage and kids! We had our babysitter taylor watch the girls and we headed to downtown scottsdale to Malees Thai Bistro. It is a super cute place on Main street tucked between art galleries and souvenier shops and the area is all lit up with twinkle lights which sort of give the area a magical feel. We enjoyed Thai iced tea and appetizers and for our entrees I was pretty predictable with Pad thai and rick had spicy as all hell lettuce wraps.. we shared two little desserts and that was our night! This year felt like a celebration of truly where our relationship is with lots of conversation about how happy we are to have found each other and have grown together.. we are a good team and push each other to be better people.. and we love each other which .... HELLO that is what its all about. Now we had so many opportunities to get a "good" picture.. the babysitter, the waiter, the random couple sitting on the bench waiting to get into the restaurant... but no we opted for the ghetto stick your arm out and hope we are in the shot photo op.... classy 5th anniversary pic!!! And a few other goofy ones of my...Anyway we had a great night!!
