Well we made it!!! Yes there was moments last night and this morning that I wasnt sure that keira was going to be able to dance in her first recital. Poor little Keira spent most of last night throwing up :( There has been a nasty stomach bug floating around and unfortunately Keira was the first of our crew to get it! Rick and I took turns bathing keira and changing sheets and doing laundry over a period of about 4 hours and I spent the rest of the night tossing and turning not knowing that in the morning it would be my turn :( Sure enough in the morning I was so sick but was just trying to make sure that Keira was eating only toast and crackers and sipping water.. poor thing! She seemed to do great throughout the morning and after a good long nap we got her all dolled up and ready to go! I finally pulled it together too and we are so happy that we were able to see our big girl dance! She did so great! Sienna did pretty good too! Although she recognized Keiras song and wanted to bolt to the stage, so after Keiras dance daddy had to take her out, luckily there were only 4 more dances til intermission and thats when all the younger dancers were allowed to leave!! We finished the night with some cuddling on the couch and cereal for dinner and now I am ready to crash :)
