Kris and Marias wedding
We made our second trip up to WA this time for Kris and Marias wedding! Thankfully the weather was amazing! We were so excited for this trip and even though it was short, it was super busy! The girls knew the drill since we were just there a month ago so they were also excited for the plane and to be at grandmas again. We arrived to grandmas to a yummy chili lunch when I went to unpack and hang up our wedding clothes I realized that Rick had forgotten his whole outfit! apart from his tie... not a great wedding outfit LOL anyway so we had to do a bit of shopping! Rick even managed to hit the gym and I went for a run while the girls were sleeping. We finished the day with a trip to the park and yummy yeas wok! Friday was mani pedis followed later by the unrehearsal BBQ! Saturday was an absolutely beautiful day! My mom and I went to get our hair done and then she headed off to the hotel for makeup and spending some time with Maria and her mom. I headed home to get early lunch and naps going for the girls...We only did hair at the house and then it was time to go to the hotel and get ready! The girls did so well the whole day! They loved their dresses and posing for the photographer, the woodmark hotel is just beautiful it was so nice to be next to the water with the sun beaming! The wedding itself was great, complete with piper, and quartet. the food was amazing! We really enjoyed ourselves! I think the pics speak for themselves! I am really happy for my brother, he seems as though he is in heaven with his new bride maria. And now I have a sister! LOL yes its all about me ;) So sunday was much needed relaxation but not without a huge Irish breakfast hosted by my parents at A Terrible Beauty, an irish restaurant! It was fabulous, and who doesnt love a beer at 11am? We spend the rest of the day at my parents and grilled later... actually I felt like I packed the whole day, it is amazing how much of a mess we can make in 3 days! my moms house was perfect when we walked in the door and two seconds later looked like a bomb hit! Rick and I said several times, wow this trip was super fun, it didnt go too quick or too slow and we enjoyed every second of it! Mostly in part to our girls being so well behaved! Congrats Kris and Maria, we are so happy we were there to witness your special moment! xo
