I have no clever title for this post which is crazy because normally I can think of something.. but the truth is that this change came out of nowhere for us and is something that is going to evolve and grow over time. Ricks son Eric reached out to him basically for a second chance, things werent going well for him and under the circumstances it even wasnt a question whether we would take him in or not. Last week Eric made the journey from seattle to arizona to start his new life here with us! I believe that everyone needs not only a second chance especially if they seek it but also no matter how old they are they need love and support and other than a roof over his head this is what we are offering eric. He is a great kid in need of alot of work, but I feel he is good in his heart and I hoping just being here with us will help him see that the work ahead of him is worth it! So here we are adding a new chapter to our lives, rick spent the last few days getting everything all set up and Eric started back to school today and I cant wait to hear how it all went and am really excited to watch him grow and become a happier healthier young man! Welcome Eric :)
