WOW this day has really crept up quickly.. I just honestly cant believe that five and half years have flown by! My girl makes me proud everyday, she is creative, talented, fun, funny, intuitive, sensitive and intensely caring. I am hoping she gets comfortable quickly so that she can come out of her initial shy little shell and enjoy herself. Keira has been so excited for today to come, she has been asking all kinds of questions about how her day will be and what things she will be doing. I keep telling her she is going to be so busy that the day is going to fly by...hopefully thats truly the case LOL As we lined up in the insane heat and humidity to drop her off.. no seriously I dont sweat much but i had sweat dripping down my stomach? YUCK I realized this was such a big moment for her, this is when she is really going to learn not just the educational "stuff" but she is going to learn so much about herself!!! To me that is the most important thing.. school schmul yeah yeah learn this fact and that... but who are you going to become along the way, who are you going to be when you are done with school and are out in the real world and living your life? Are you happy, are you proud of yourself, do you love yourself? I dont care what these girls choose to do in their lives... I am going to be proud of them as long as they always try hard and as long as they are happy! What is a life, no matter what path you take, if you are not happy... I gave her a hug and kissed her goodbye a moment that took my breath away...I blinked a few tears away and watched her teacher greet her and show her were to put her backpack then usher her off to the big bad playground LOL Today after watching keira hit another big milestone today.. I am just that much happier in my own life! Thankful everyday for the crazy winding path that got me to right here and now! life gets richer with every moment, every experience, every milestone... Keira Piper you are so beautiful and always remember WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!
