I just LOVE traditions... My mom and I took Keira and Sienna to see the nutcracker for the first time and besides it being so much fun, I think it was definitely the start of a new tradition...one that I always looked forward too many years ago :) I think the girls loved the whole experience from getting dressed up to being in the theatre and watching the show. They just love dance and you could just see the awe in their faces! It definitely tested Siennas ability to sit still :) and she did remind me close to 100 times that she wanted popcorn... but we made it through with grandmas chocolate mini eggs, water and some tic tacs. To finish off the day we came home to see that Polka Dot our Elf had made her first appearance and bought a little surprise for the girls.... cute little christmas jammies. They couldnt wait to get in the bath and wear their new jammies and grandma had a surprise too.. The Nutcracker book! The girls had storytime with Grandma to end a lovely day. Actually I think the whole weekend was a perfect way to ring in December and the holiday season with the girls parade, glendale glitters and then the nutcracker! Phew :)
