Jump

so its pretty obvious we are a dance household.. whether or not the girls will always be dancers or not is up in the air.. but for now its our life! Keira went to her first of probably many dance conventions and she absolutely LOVED it! I have to admit.. i think i had just as much fun ...but being there as a mom was a much different experience for me, I continue to perfect that mommy/self balance everyday but seriously wanted to get up there and dance right along with her! Anyway so the convention was also a competition.. keira was not a part of the competition this year and instead just participated in the workshops.  The workshops were mostly taught by former so you think you can dance contestants and choreographers... and being an avid fan of the show and also the show all the right moves which followed the making of the dance company shaping sounds I was in heaven getting to see these guys in person and in action! Keira didnt know who they were but enjoyed each one Katy Spreadbury for ballet, Mike Minery for tap, Hector for hip hop and Nick for jazz! In each of the sessions they learned a short routine and then at the end got to perform all 4 dances on the big jump stage which was super cool.. Unfortunately it was prohibited to take any pics or video while they were on stage :( but here are a few from earlier in the day
