The last day of our trip came so quickly, and it was another hot one! We headed off to Legoland! I have to be honest, this was not our favourite place, first of all the kids arent really into lego.. so the miniland which is major cities from the US and all over the world made out of lego was not that captivating and then there was the fact that.. most of legoland is rides... and keira was only tall enough for a handful. However they do have a new splashpark that just opened last month and thankfully that saved the day, the girls were happy to play in the pool. Daddy took sienna down one of the slides which was sooo cute and then they rode the lazy river, Keira stuck with mama :) Keira did do a couple of helicoper and plane rides and really surprised me by going on this big pirate ship that twirled all over. We panned for gold, ate icecream and made the most of it. Then it was off to see our friends Kelly and Justin and their kids at the beach house that their family stay at each summer. It is so fun to be with friends in new surroundings!! To be able to sit on the beach getting close to sunset with the kids playing in the sand together was an amazing way to end our last day in San Diego! They cooked a wonderful taco dinner which was fabulous in two ways, one because I didnt have to make it and somehow that makes it sooo much more enjoyable LOL and of course because it was delish! Thank you for sharing the last night of your vacation with us kelly (and fam) it was so much fun!! And that was it we headed back to the hotel to bathe the girls put them to bed and pack! We were up at 4:30 the next morning, on the road just after 5am and home by noon. I am so glad we took this little family trip!
