oh my we had an exciting morning.. Sienna took her first ballet/tap class... she is a little young but because Keira has been going to the dance studio for a year now and Sienna is familiar with the teacher and the situation in general we thought we would at least give it a try. I am not sure she could have been any cuter in her leotard and tap shoes! and overall she did pretty well.. she lasted through the tap half of class with a little bit of crawling on the floor (not part of the class) and a few full on lie face down on the floor meltdowns :) but hey one girl was doing nothing, and another sucking her thumb and twirling her hair.. I mean come on this is a 2yr old class LOL so sienna was ok with her binky in her mouth and her meltdowns! When it was time to switch to ballet shoes she didnt want to take off her tap shoes and had a meltdown and wanted her mommy.. I let her try to work things out but took her out of the class after a few mins so that none of the other girls would get upset...sometimes it only takes one to get everyone melting down... anyhoo that was a mistake because she was then really mad that I took her out. Hey I gotta learn too LOL so anyway I wont do that again. I was so proud of her today for just going in there and doing her best! For 19 months I think she did amazing! here is a video of her actually doing what she was supposed to :) she is blocked by another girl a little bit.. but obviously she is the one with the binky in her mouth!
