Ok so sienna started ballet at 19 mos... yes I was well aware that this is pretty young.. however when she feels like it she is a great little dancer... the key there is when she feels like it.. she has for sure spent some time scooting around the floor on her belly, taking her ballet shoes off and throwing them, being held by the teacher and screaming NO !!!!!! but things got better throughout the year however I wouldnt have guessed that when her costume arrived for recital that she would actually be scared of it? yes she literally screamed when she saw it and completely melted down when it came to class pictures. Needless to say she is not in her class pic... Anyhoo so this morning without much hope I suggested she try on her costume to "see if it fit" and she said OK!!!! And seriously she couldnt have been happier and insisted on putting on music to wear it. I have renewed hope that she may just make it on stage afterall!!!
